Remember during the Heard v Depp debacle, when a bunch of Depp's famous friends who worked with him in the 90s or whatever were like "But I know him, he would never do something like that" meanwhile Amber only had her lesser-known normal friends vouching for her, so people were like "see, everyone loves Depp and supports him so he must be right!!!"
But now, everyone who knows Blake Lively is stepping up to support her, including multiple people who were on the movie set where all of this shit went down, and the only people backing Justin Baldoni are people who are also implicated in the lawsuit or the NYT article, and instead of getting the same benefit of the doubt as Depp, suddenly Blake's popular support among notable people proves how she's an evil bitch using her connections in Hollywood to ruin the life and career of a lesser known talent.
(Mind you, again, Amber DID have people who knew her and Depp coming to her defense from day one, people just didn't know who those people were so they didn't want to hear it. Meanwhile I, just to be sure, have ACTIVELY LOOKED for anyone defending Justin Baldoni who knows him who isn't implicated in the allegations, and have come up with nothing.
The BEST thing I can say is that there are conflicting reports on whether he was nice on the set of My Last Days, because one rando says he was awful to the crew and the families featured, where another rando said their buddy was on the crew and he was super nice.)
My point here is that these people kiss their own asses about being "critical thinkers" who "come to their own conclusions" based on evidence and logic, but in reality it's clear that they start from a place of wanting to believe the man and demonize the woman and then they figure out how to interpret or even twist the evidence to support that.
