so this one youtuber, i can't remember which (probably either screencrush or new rockstars bc those are the main ones i watch marvel videos from) put forward the theory that the ff movie is gonna introduce all of these other avengers and have them have established relationships with the f4 to make it matter more when that universe gets incursion'ed and the only survivors are the f4

anyways i was thinking about how that would be interesting to see the f4 interacting with our versions of those heroes, variants of people they knew and loved and couldn't save and those variants don't know who they are at all

and then i was like, what if they--or if not all of them, let's say johnny--knows who spider-man is. they were friends back on his earth. peter parker is currently alone in the world, nobody who he loves even remembers who he is, and now some rando is like oh hey peter! not only knowing who he is, but knowing that he's spider-man. 

So on johnny's side you have: this is a variant of someone who was one of my closest friends. he looks exactly like him. he doesn't know me. he's not the same person but at the same time he is. 

on peter's side: this is someone i don't know. he is someone who knows me. he is the only person who knows me. he doesn't know me. but at the same time he does. 

honestly that dynamic is so juicy i might convert to a spideytorch shipper
